What Are You Planning?
We host two types of visits—each with different requirements:
Private Group Tours
(Up to 20 Guests)
A private tour is a guided visit of the museum collection.
No deposit or liability waiver is required for tours.
Events Held at Idle Ridge
(Meetings, Memorials, Celebrations, etc.)
An event includes any gathering where you’re using the space to host guests beyond a standard tour (examples below).
A deposit and a signed Liability Waiver are required for events.
Event Options
Idle Ridge is available for intimate gatherings that reflect the spirit of connection, storytelling, and community that Jim valued. Each booking takes place within the curated atmosphere of Jim’s collection—classic cars, motorcycles, and local artifacts that create a truly unique backdrop.

We want your event to feel effortless and enjoyable. Here are a few important details to know as you plan:
- Capacity: Up to 20 guests (unless otherwise approved)
- Availability: Limited weekday and weekend time slots available by appointment
- Rental Duration: Standard bookings are 2–4 hours
- Fees: Vary by visit type (finalized during booking confirmation)
- Deposit (events only): Required to reserve your date (details provided during confirmation)
- Setup & Cleanup: Must take place within your reserved rental window
- Food & Beverage: May be permitted depending on your event; guidelines provided upon inquiry
- Photography: Professional or staged photography requires advance approval
- Accessibility & Parking: On-site parking and accessible access points (details available upon request)
